A Botanica Tag

Hello, here is my last project using the gorgeous set from Craftwork Cards 'Botanica'.  It is a really beautiful set, that I have loved playing with.

Ali has this gorgeous set at a special price of £15.00 on the website HERE.

Here is how I put the tag together, using the glorious papers, die-flowers, birds and sentiments.  I have added some lovely lace and a few lilac pearls.

(1) Firstly, half cover the tag with some butterfly paper and the top half with some of the script paper.
(2) Push out a die-cut of a bird and stick centrally on the tag.
(3) Cut a small square of butterfly paper, stick to top of tag, punch out hole.
(4) Cut around another of the birds and cover bird image, using sticky pads.
(5) Add lace across front of tag and loop some at the top, through hole.
(6) Push out two smaller die-cut flowers and stick down as shown.
(7) Add small sentiment to bottom of tag.
(8) Cut out one of the pink butterflies and attach to side of tag, over lace.
(9) Add lilac pearls to flower centres and randomly on tag.

I do hope you have enjoyed my 'Monday' projects, using this gorgeous set.

Thank you for stopping by the blog today and for any comments left,

Heidi

Botanica Birthday Card

Hi, Heidi here to share another blog project with you today.

I have made a vintage birthday card using the gorgeous Craftwork Cards  - 'Botanica' collection that Ali is selling at a very special price on the website.

You can purchase this gorgeous set for only £15.00 - HERE

If you know me well, you will know that I absolutely love birds and anything with birds on, so this little kit is right up my street.  It has some beautiful floral die-cuts along with bird ones, which mix and match together so well.  Inked up it can look quite vintage, along with some gorgeous ribbon trim and pearls is an ideal set to use for special cards and gifts.

Here is my card for this week using the set.

Here are the products I used to make my card :

Botanica Paper & Die-Cut pack
Shaped Card blank
Tim Holtz 'Victorian Velvet' Inkpad
Rose ribbon trim
Small cream pearls
Circle die and Big Shot Die-cutting machine
Sticky tape
Sticky foam pads

Here is how I made the card :

(1) Using the circle die, die-cut the large circle, ink edges and stick to card blank.
(2) Put out a bird die-cut, edge with ink as before.
(3) Stick die-cut to left edge of card.
(4) Edge 'Happy birthday' sentiment with ink and add sticky pads to reverse, stick down.
(5) Push out five small flowers, edge with ink and add pearls.
(6) Stick rose ribbon trim to bottom of card using strong tape.
(7) Add flowers around the card as shown.

I do hope you have enjoyed my little project today, I will share another next week.

WOYWW What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday post

Hi Guys

Well i thought i would give it a go, not that good at trying to link things, Heidi normally does that for me

Will try to do a longer and better post for next week, so keep watching

WOYWW 249

What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday

Well all i can say, is my desk is as usual very messy
so much going on in my head all the time, and never the time to get it all done.

I am sorting out all the bits and pieces to do a mixed media money box house from the MDF man, so lots of paint, ribbon, buttons, you know the sort of things

This project is going to be for a workshop later in the year, so i can see lots of forward planning involved.

Can i just say, this is tidy for me xx

Well off now to see if i can do the link, wish me luck
